June Meeting
Tuesday 10th 7.30
We have Iona Woodger coming to demonstrate
flower arranging. This will be an “audience participation night”. To make your
own arrangements you will need 1-3 tin cans (baked bean size) or small vases,
dainty foliage, small flowers, scissors/cutters, raffia, string or ribbon if
you want to make a tied arrangement and a rubbish bag.

hosts this year are Qudegeley WI. This year is their centenary so the theme of
the afternoon is the 20’s.
There
will be a cold buffet (please bring cutlery if you wish), cakes.
Entertainment by Glos Strings Ukelele band.
Attendees
are encouraged to dress 20’s style for the occasion.

“Social evening & silent Auction.”
There
will be bread, cheese and drinks available, cost £3.00pp.
We are
hoping to raise money for Glevum activities. Why not bring along a friend. You
will have a chance to sit and chat with other members as this auction will be
different to our previous ones. You will find each item in the auction on
display with a unique bidding sheet. Each member will be given a number and if
you wish to bid for an item you will need to put your number and your bid on
the appropriate sheet.
We
would also be grateful for any items you could donate that we can put in the
auction.
