Information about Glevum WI

 

Welcome to Glevum WI

 

We meet once a month, every 2nd Tuesday 7.30pm, except January, in St. Barnabas Church Hall.

As well as the monthly meeting, most months, there are several activities arranged by members for Glevum members.

Knit & Natter. Usually the 4th Tuesday of the month. We make blankets and knitted clothes for distribution to various causes.

Scrabble. 3rd Tuesday, venues announced at the main meeting. 

Book Club  Date announced each month 

We also arrange trips to places of interest and we have social evenings.

 

Glevum is part of the Robinswood Group of WI's and there are group meetings held normally once a year. A chance to meet and chat with members of other WI's

  

GFWI (Gloucestershire Federation of Women's Institutes)

GFWI arrange outings and classes which can be booked through Glevum WI.  'Gloucester News' is produced by GFWI and lists all the activities they are arranging and the closing dates for applications. These news sheets are given out each month at our meeting.
