July Meeting Tuesday 8th 7.30

“Social evening & Silent Auction.”

There will be bread, cheese and drinks available, cost £3.00pp.

We are hoping to raise money for Glevum activities. Why not bring along a friend.

We would be grateful for donations for the auction a maximum of 2 per member.

Please check your digital copy of GFWI news to check events which need to be booked and paid for at this months meeting. If you are not attending the meeting and would like to book an event, please email glevumwi@aol.com

Make sure if you book an event, you pay Emma when you have filled in the appropriate paperwork.

Robinswood Group Meeting

Saturday 2nd August 2.00-4.00 at Hardwick Village Hall £16.00

The hosts this year are Qudegeley WI. This year is their centenary so the theme of the afternoon is the 20’s.

There will be a cold buffet (please bring cutlery if you wish), cakes.

 Entertainment by Glos Strings Ukelele band.

Attendees are encouraged to dress 20’s style for the occasion.

 

Anniversary lunch

Our 50th Anniversary lunch is planned for Wednesday 22nd October at Café Rene.

INFORMAION FOR THE JULY MEETING

If you are planning on joining us for cheese & drinks, please bring a plate, knife & glass.

 

On arrival, please collect a unique number from Emma to allow you to bid for an item. If you have bought an item for the auction, please collect a bidding sheet for each item you have brought (max of 2 items) place your item on the tables put out, along with its bidding sheet. If you would like to put a reserve on the item, please start the sheet with 000 and the amount.  

Members will have time to look at the items in the auction and place their bids.

To make bids on items please write your unique number on the bidding sheet next to the item you are interested in and the amount you wish to bid.  

You can bid as many times as you like for an item and as many items as you wish.

All bids to be made in multiples of 50p. Keep an eye on anything you are interest in to check if you’ve been outbid!!

At the end of the evening the winning bid will be announced, payment to Emma please.

We hope you have an enjoyable evening.
