I shall be doing a delivery to Cheltenham on Thursday including teddies. Some will be given directly to children coming here via organisation Cheltenham Welcomes Refugees. The rest will go onwards to Poland, I've been assured. All joining up well.
Please thank all your knitters at next meeting.
Thanks to our very talented knitters... the April 'makes' 15 hats, 6 teddies, 2 matinee coats & 3 blankets.
Lovely message to pass on to your ladies please. Every little helps as you know. I should keep count of boxes l send but know a good proportion would be via you through me. Well done ladies. . . . . . Just a drop in the ocean we know but every drop adds up. Keep clicking those needles. X😊
Think I forgot to mention that we took 15 boxes to Feed the Hungry last week. They are going to the Lebanon before the end of the year. So all together, we sent off over 100 boxes from Gloucester and Cheltenham this year. Many thanks again to you the hard working knitters, collectors and packets!
Happy Christmas 🎄
